Biography

Dr. Seki earned his MD and PhD degrees from Okayama University in Japan, after which he attended his postdoctoral training and received his first faculty appointment from the University of Florida. Dr. Seki then continued his research at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University for eight years before joining California Northstate University in Elk Grove, California. After California Northstate University successfully received LCME preliminary accreditation, Dr. Seki joined CalMed to assist in the creation, accreditation and development of another medical school from the ground up.

Dr. Seki has a passion for creating educational opportunities for students entering healthcare professions and has publications in the field of blood vessel development, arteriovenous malformation, aldosterone research, and expertise in development and analysis of small animal models.
