Dr Francis Achike has more than 25 years of global experience in both developing and teaching at innovative medical schools, where his expertise in clinical skills and simulation have greatly contributed to a holistic curriculum and world class education. He has served as professor and chair, and has a deep passion for curriculum, faculty development, assessment and evaluation. Dr. Achike continues to run faculty development seminars and workshops around the globe. He has been involved (in the last five years) in the accreditation process of three (one osteopathic and two allopathic) medical schools.

Dr. Achike is a fellow of the American College of Clinical Pharmacology, as well as a member of its Continuing Medical Education (CME) committee. He is a member of the research committee of the Directors of Clinical Skills (DOCS) wing of the AAMC, and he sits on the International Advisory Board of the Asia-Pacific Association of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in the Health Sciences (APA-PHS). He is a reviewer for several scientific and medical education journals and serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Cardiovascular Pharmacology (JCVP), the Clinical and Experimental Pharmacology and Physiology (CEPP), Journal of Life Sciences, and the Journal of Medical Education (Taiwan).
