Biography

Dr. Dhammika Atapattu is Professor of Microbiology, Immunology and Infectious Diseases at CalMed, and an adjunct honorary fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to his current position, he was an Associate Professor at California Northstate University College of Medicine in Elk Grove, CA, a Senior Microbiologist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Senior Scientist/Director of Cell Biology Research at BioSentinel Pharmaceuticals Inc./University of Wisconsin. He received post-MD training at the National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD and at Johns Hopkins University / Bayview Medical Center.
