He has received several awards for teaching both in the United States and in Europe. Dr Tenore has been involved in the implementation of the "Global Pediatric Education Consortium (GPEC)" as the Founding Chair; of The European/International Intensive program in "Bioethics Applied to Clinical Practice" in its 20th yr; and of a nationwide "Progress Testing" in all 49 Italian Medical schools covering all academic years, which is currently in its 12th year
