California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM), School of Medicine(SOM) is an LCME accredited allopathic medical school located in the shadow of San Bernardino mountains of Southern California. CUSM is temporarily located in San Bernardino, however, will relocate in 2020 to its permanent facility next to the teaching hospital, Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) in Colton. In addition to the MD Degree, CUSM offers a Master’s in Biomedical Sciences degree through its MBS program.

CUSM is recruiting for faculty position in microbiology/immunology to fulfill the teaching duties in both the MD and the MBS programs. We are seeking faculty who will further the mission of CUSM by participating in student education and advising, scholarly activities, and university service of the graduate program leading to a Master’s degree in “Biomedical Sciences”.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D., M.D., D.O., Pharm D., or doctoral degree in another relevant field.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Prior teaching experience with the skill of course design (preferred but not required).
  • Demonstrated research experience and scholarly activity.
